Red Lion Hotel Albany

Relaxing, fairly clean place and calm area. Updated and non-smoking units on 1st floor in atrium.

I enjoyed its staff and food, new building. The room was on the 3rd floor. Smooth check-in was a bonus. Moreover, I parked at the onsite. The restaurant was pleasant for a meal at the restaurant.

i loved the place, good staff and location. hotel was immaculately clean. it was a pretty area, a cosy base for me.

The weather was beautiful, had very relaxing stay with Great Service and Clean Rooms. I loved our double room on 1st floor in atrium. Everything was simply very clean.

Well-kept place with cool enough and non-smoking rooms. Good service, top-class staff. We had a few warm drinks in the lovely hotel’s bar.

Awesome breakfast, top location and scenic views. The beds were super and the double room itself was luxury and airy. Genuinely friendly, honest staff who was always available. I appreciated to spend time in the nice Irish bar.

I enjoyed the sand beach and the pleasant staff. For breakfast there was continental with eggs and fresh bread to choose from. The location was very convenience, not very far from times union center. Personalised service, terrific restaurant on site. Superb base for 1 night...

exceptional view, a nice balcony, good bed, too. central location, relatively close to times union center. the food for brunch was astonishing in the indoor restaurant. had cold drinks in the lobby bar in the evening.

I loved it, and I found the staff enthusiastic. Magnificent view of sea. The pool was nice and the garden — lovely. Restaurant was nice with first-class service and brilliant food.

The room was luxurious & extremely basic, and the bathrooms were spotless. Optimal location, at a near distance from saint francis chapel. Relaxed by the pool, it was great, especially when the weather was pleasant. Have stayed at this classy hotel previously and always had thoughtful service.

Active staff, phenomenal location and perfect room. Continental breakfast was savoury! The gardens were lovely here. The beach was nice.

Fantastic location and comfy bed. Convenient unit. The food on offer at continental breakfast was excellent! Truly enjoyed Albany, the hotel was pristine.

I had cosy king room with build up coffee pot, sheets and towels too. Everything was so good, even so a few employees were noisy. There also was convenient parking and heated pool.

The rooms were inviting, the staff was very pleasant, the location was STUNNING. The staff did all they can for an incredible stay.

check-in was early, staff was friendly. the hotel was conveniently situated. i had quick lunch at ted's fish fry, located within short walking distance to the venue.

Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like reel seafood company that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Perfect location very close to the Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak train station. The Crossings of Colonie was in close proximity to the hotel...
